MEET THE ILLUSTRATOR:
Alicia Mann is an artist by nature, metalsmith by trade, and an avid organic gardener residing in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania with her fiancée and two dobermans. She graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture with an emphasis on life drawing, metalwork and figure-sculpture. She interweaves her interests in art and horticulture by working in the garden, learning the ephemeral qualities of nature, and taking these lessons back to the drawing table, to the kitchen or anvil.
