Description

There were a lot of ingredients in the Radiant Tea herbal blend that came in the Seasonal Herb Boxes for Autumn 2025!

Stinging Nettle*: This would be considered one of the “base herbs” that this blend was built around. Great for autumn since it’s effective for relieving allergies and aiding digestion.

Lemon Balm*: This was the other half of the bulk of this tea blend. Melissa officinalis is great for stress, anxiety and helps calm and sooth your body and mind.

Echinacea*: People tend to get sick in the fall so you can never have enough immune boosting herbs to keep your system strong and healthy! Echinacea’s strong flavor compliments the herbaceous taste of the stinging nettle.

Goldenrod: Goldenrod is so abundant and easy to harvest. Although the smell was strong and I had to be conscious to harvest it at the right time so that it wouldn’t burst into seed while it was drying.. it took a little experimentation to find the right proportion in the blend, but I liked the flavor that it added.

Calendula*: A great plant to use in fall tea blends because calendula just keeps producing well into the cooler temps! The flowers are easy to dry on screens or in a breathable basket on the counter.

Sunflower: Drinking sunflower petal tea may offer benefits like reducing inflammation, protecting against cardiovascular disease, supporting immune function and soothing sore throats.

Violet: Just a small amount of violet to give the tea a pretty pop of color.

Rose*: With its deep, rich flavor, I added rose petals to bring some autumn color and scent to the blend. Rose tea is known for its calming qualities, which may help alleviate anxiety and stress, improve mood, and even foster better sleep.

Chamomile*: With the flavor of apples and honey, chamomile was a great flavor enhancer for this tea. Playing into all the colors of the season, it also works well with the other herbs that provide stress relief and calming qualities.

Elderberry: Adding another pop of color but with the immune system in mind, these berries will bring sweetness to the herbal blend, balancing the flavors of the other herbs.
